  • Although there is a direct correlation between the economy of communities and the progress of technology, causation cannot be implied

    • This being said, technology is not the ONLY solution to bettering the economy, but it is certainly a first step in the right direction

  • Some recommendations from ​research include:

    • Motivating companies to invest more of their money into technology​

    • Motivating people to become more competent with the digital technologies

    • Increasing competition between firms by utilizing technology more

    • ARC should promote inclusiveness of communities during the grant making process to maximize community use of investments

    • ARC and communities can express their needs for telecommunication and internet services to increase competition

  • S&T (Strategic Scientific and Technology) intiative:​

    • Find "clusters" of existing technological industries that have the potential of growing and investing money in that cluster​

    • Expanding local networks
